GBA Cart Battery Holder Hey, I have a question, I saw gba battery holders on ebay and was wondering if anyone here went ahead and installed one of them in their carts. My main question is if they will fit/close the case properly, it feels like a more efficient upgrade for battery replacement than just resoldering a new tabbed battery every once
The GBA SP also introduced other useful features, like a rechargeable battery, but the real reason most GBA users were eager to upgrade was because the SP finally introduced an illuminated screen thank you so much for the detailed response and for sharing this knowledge with me FAST6191! thank you so much! i was scratching my head over whether or not the gba sp had used any of those defective electrolytic capacitors from back when the capacitor plague was still a thing. i thought if that were the case, now might be a good time to have those defective caps replaced before they pop orHopefully the DS stuff is similar to the GBA stuff (2003 was the SP release, 2004 was the DS with the same port and same style of battery so I am hoping). As others mentioned the charger ports are pretty good.
1. IPS LCD. No shell modification needed for the original shell. (some shell molds may vary). Easy to install. 2. Deliver 32 pin and 40 pin cables, no matter what version you have. 3. Use ordinary AA battery, the battery life is about 10 hours. Using different game cartridges, the power consumption will be different.
