hi there, i would disconnect the battery for 10 minutes as this sometimes fixes the issue. what happens is the sync module (APIM) freezes and needs powering down. sometimes the module is faulty and requires a new on. disconnecting the battery will not cause you any issues. Re: Ford Sync no lottonger streams my bluetooth audio. I've tried that in my 2016 piece of garbage. I can't even tell you how many times I've punched my Steering wheel lately because sync is the worst. I have all the issues, voice commands not working, audio not playing and it's annoying. I had a 2008 Lincoln mkx and I NEVER had a single issue.

If you have any problems with sync just do this and it resets the whole Bluetooth system. You just need to go to the passenger footwell, look up and take out 2 plastic screws to release the carpeted part under the glove box, then unplug the 2 wires, then reconnect them - pictures attached. Expand.
